Couldn’t care less about the customers…
Couldn’t care less about the customers they get a delayed flight and let you know hrs before , no suggested fix just a option to cancel or rearrange like I’m cancelling my honey moon , staff are very patronising when you try to get a resolution also play the dumb card or are just that stupid it’s hard to tell, luckily after speaking to Emirates they gave me the info I was looking for duck using this company , I’ve had more intelligent conversations with my cat

Felt misled
Holiday hypermarket is part of TUI. I purchased a package holiday through NHS TUI Holidays for heroes website, as I am an NHS worker, and was not offered a standard room at time of booking. After booking, I saw a standard room was offered for a significantly cheaper price. Over £600 cheaper in fact, although this wasn't offered at the time. I wanted to downgrade to a standard room to take advantage of this price and because we didn’t need a preferred room. TUI would not be flexible to this. This booking experience has been so disappointing and feel this has been more of a scheme to make money than think about overall experience and satisfaction of people deciding to book with tui.
Additionally. Their communication has been unacceptably poor. Despite agreeing to follow up on payment issues and communicate this back to me, they did not (my account was charged twice for a payment when it should have been only charged once).
TUI sending a mass email for the recent disruption but feeling not listened to the concerns I've raised has made this a really difficult experience, and also brings into question when TUI says something whether I believe them or not.
I'm now trying to find other ways to ensure the disappointment I am feeling owing to this situation is rectified through other avenues.
Deapite previously putting faith in this company, I would not book with TUI or associated company again. When TUI say they put you in the middle, it doesn't feel like it.
Thank you Kelly…
Following my initial review I have been contacted by stockton@tui and my issues were resolved by Kelly. I will now receive a full refund for my holiday ruined by Swiss Port ground staff and two cancelled flights. Still would have preferred to have gone on holiday but Kelly ensured the issue was resolved.
Was that Fawlty Towers I visited! Absolutely filthy accommodation and dreadful customer service!
Booked 7 nights at the Azuline Cala Martina hotel in Punta Arabi El Casa in Ibiza. A 17 hour flight delay to start with including a change of departure airport from Bristol instead of Exeter. It was a cheaper holiday but the hotel was much like Fawlty Tower with complete lack of management. Hotel was filthy and swimming pool was like a trip to the local sewage works. No TUI reps on site and when she did visit on our penultimate day she filled a piece of A4 paper with our concerns. Promised to contact me next day but heard nothing from since. Can’t get flight delay compensation as my flight number does not exist!!?? Have tried ringing, text messaging, email non-stop for days but can’t get through to anyone. Appalling service!! Booking Ref:- 15852840
Would love to hear from any human being at TUI!!

Not even 1 star
Not even 1 star.
Our family holiday has been cancelled due to the issues in Manchester Airport.
I absolutely understand there will be an unprecedented amount of phone calls that they are dealing with but being on hold for 4 hours just isn’t satisfactory customer service when people have spent £2k on a holiday to be told it is now cancelled.
I have been to a Tui branch prior to calling to be told that unfortunately with the booking being made via HH, I’d HAVE TO call.
My cancellation email states I have 2 options, refund or look to rebook and to do so if need to call the number provided.
4 hours later and no answer. Meanwhile holidays skyrocket in price.
Replied to on Facebook by an operator telling me to use the online chat function- nobody replied?
It’s poor.

Moving the goalposts
Booked a holiday through Holiday Hypermarket, only to be called up the next day to be told the price had increased by £60 and we would need to pay extra to keep our booking..
It is clearly unacceptable to be changing the price after we have already confirmed and booked the holiday. How can anyone book a holiday with confidence through this company??
Avoid the stress and book direct, or use an alternative company.
Can never get though
Can never get though. I “have to call” to make changes. I’m not allowed ti go through Tui or First Choice. I’m on hold at least over 1 hour per call and have to end as I work.
Booked a Holiday through Holiday…
Booked a Holiday through Holiday Hypermarket in 2019. Free amendments due to covid. Latest amendment I changed to July 2022. I want to change the same holiday to 11 nights instead of 7. Now you want £200 amendments fee. To cancel it will be £1000.
Your employee Julie is a waste of space. In January 2022 she emailed “This is why TUI have currently allowed customers to amend free of charge.”
Now I’m February 2022 she states “ In regards to my email – (This is why TUI have currently allowed customers to amend free of charge) Throughout the pandemic the free amendment dates have changed inline with travel restrictions.”
They will not budge on the £200 fee. When they’ve held £4000 of my money since 2019.
DO NOT USE HOLIDAY HYPERMARKET OR TUI. Read the small print which they love to change.
Reply to reply: utter bull. I’ve had to change my holiday 4 times since 2019. Now it’s been moved past the April 2022 you want to charge me amendment charges. You’ve had my money for 3 years.
A company with no compassion
I understand we are going through a pandemic, but is this a way to keep making money off people?
Having changed our honeymoon a number of times. Each time the price goes up. We need to change the holiday again for this year. Looking online there is an online discount however, holiday hyper market will not honour these online prices. They know they have us strung up by the balls. To cancel would cost me £800.
Don’t put your money into a holiday until you’re sure you can get there without all these restrictions. This company has had 3500 of my money since 2019.

Enormous thank you to Sandra for…
Enormous thank you to Sandra for responding to my complaint and resolving everything for me. This holiday has been booked since 2019 and, COVID issues aside, I'm finally confident our holiday will be able to go ahead at a hotel that is actually built!

14 hour Flight times amended …
We booked our original holiday to Turkey back in 2019 but due to the pandemic, situation transferred our holiday last year and this to next year flying from Bristol @ 6am as I do not really like flying and nighttime flights are worse.
We were looking at our booking about a month ago and noticed that our flying times had changed from 6am landing in Turkey around 12.00 to 20.20 landing in Turkey at 2am the next day which is over 14 hours later so we rang the call centre who told us that they would be in touch.
They contacted us today for them to tell us that we could change our dates 4 days either side of our booking date or cancel the holiday at no charge but no more dates available for the hotel we have booked and going to for the last 7 years.
We therefore had no choice and have reluctantly had to keep the amended times but surely this is unacceptable as we would not have booked a holiday for those times in the first place and nothing they can do
We loose 1 day holiday with these new amended times and we would have paid more money for the flight times we booked originally not very happy with this service at all.

Very fed up customer
Booked a holiday with Holiday Hypermarket but due to unforeseen circumstances have today tried to cancel only to be told that as I have only paid the first deposit of £250 I would be charged a further £250 to cancel the holiday!!! They suggest that i do not pay the second deposit of £250 due in June and then the holiday will automatically be cancelled, I don’t trust this statement and am not prepared to gamble on waiting to June to sort this mess out. I JUST WANT TO CANCEL NOW. Totally frustrated and fed up, will not use this company again.
